Rob Garth has been an integral part of Clarity Home Loans since joining as a lending assistant in 2008. With a background in customer service and hospitality, he quickly developed a strong understanding of the loan process, pairing industry expertise with a commitment to delivering seamless, stress-free experiences for his clients which saw him ranked as a Young Broker of the Year by The Adviser Magazine in 2013.
Now a part-owner and Clarity’s Training Director, Rob plays a vital role in mentoring new and upcoming brokers, ensuring they meet the firm’s high standards of excellence. While guiding the next generation, he continues to support his extensive client base—many of whom he has assisted across multiple generations, helping parents, children, and extended family members secure their home loans.
Rob’s dedication to client success has earned him numerous accolades, including consistent recognition as a Top 50 Mortgage Broker (NSW/ACT) at the AFG Excellence Awards from 2012 to 2024, and a Regional Broker of the Year (NSW/ACT) finalist in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Arman has been organising my family's home loans for many years, so it was natural I would organise my loan with his help. I can confidently say Arman did an amazing job helping me set up my loan. The short version: Excellent, professional service. Would use again.The long version:My intention was to go direct to the bank. I already had one home loan with them and I did the sums, it seemed like a safe loan. I called my bank's customer service, they reviewed my sums and also said I should easily be able to borrow the amount I wanted. Put through my application and got advised by the lending agent I couldn't service the loan amount requested. I asked why and how much I could borrow, but was told they couldn't tell me as it counted as financial advice. It was a mystery.I called Arman at Clarity Financial based on a goggle search and explained the situation. My intention was just to understand why my financials didn't check out so I could plan for the future. But it seems it was the bank that had made the mistake.Two months later I've settled on a property with a loan organised through Clarity Financial from my bank who had rejected my application (they had the best rates). It's even a loan slightly higher than the one I submitted through the bank, so I can keep more of my savings in an offset for a rainy day. The whole process was super easy.

Thanks very much to Josh Shea, who was excellent to work with while buying my first home. He kept in regular contact, and I really appreciated how he answered my questions and stepped through the buying timeline, as well as guiding through the choice of mortgage. There were some tight timeframes for approvals in the lead up to Christmas but Josh and team got it all over the line. I would recommend Clarity without hesitation.
